My fortune cookie last night contained three – three! – fortunes.
- A pleasant surprise is in store for you soon.
- You will enjoy doing something different this coming weekend.
- You will soon be confronted ("confronted"?) with unlimited opportunities.
I don't know how the multiple-fortune magic works. Do all three apply, and if so, do they all apply to the same moment? I will be surprised and confronted and enjoy something this weekend? Bring it.
But until then, so begins the season when I take out the trash only every other week cause baby it's cold outside.
I think they could possibly go together and apply to one big surprise this weekend. Have a great one. I wish I was there to confront it with you!
I still remember when Jon was considering going back to school before we were married he got a fortune: You should be a lawyer. He thought I planted it. I didn't, but I secretly wonder if some lady truly wanted her man to go to law school and we got it by mistake.

Ha! I'd love a fortune that specific. "Ellenor, you're going to love the Caitlin Horrocks story in this year's Best American Short Stories. Turn off Storage Wars and go read it now."

When the raccoons congregate around your garbage, you will find they make good company.
You will soon be confronted with unlimited opportunities to convince others of this.
You have likely never spent a weekend doing that.
